Wood Skull
According to Paul the Deacon, the Lombard Alboin defeated the Lombards' hereditary enemies, the Gepids, slew their new king Cunimund, whose skull he fashioned into a drinking-cup, and whose daughter Rosamund he carried off and made his wife. The use of the human skull as a drinking cup is something that is found repeatedly in historical documents. And while the human skull can undoubtedly serve many purposes, it also looks pretty fly on a gold chain.
